AI Equals Competitive Advantage

Even though ML, AI concepts are not new, for many years, the volume of data available for most companies didn’t support the dream of machine learning and AI. And Fast forward to today… where data volumes are massive, exploding to the point many companies can’t even manage it. Machine Learning and AI have the Power to accelerate digital transformation initiatives and transform business operations in every industry by predicting machine failures, preventing health issues, protecting from cyber-attacks, uncovering fraud, providing better customer experience, etc. The session will showcase a few industry solutions and provide answers to these questions:

· How do you bridge the gap between data and outcomes?

· Machine Learning and AI is Nothing New, so Why Does this Opportunity for Transformation Fall Short?

· How Artificial Intelligence & Machine learning can power apps for competitive advantage?

Presentation: Data Governance is an Enabler Not a Tax

Data Governance is often viewed as a compliance burden or a corporate tax – something to avoid. However, a comprehensive approach to Data Governance can reduce transaction costs, enhance business agility, accelerate digital transformation, and enable AI automation. In this presentation, I will provide a brief overview of a data governance framework, with particular focus on Master Data Management. I will then be joined by Australia Post’s Cameron Towt and my colleague Bruce Roff, who will present a case study on Australia Post’s recent Customer Master Data Management project.
